Over the past two years, adjustments to the global supply chain layout have driven purchasing demand from newly built overseas factory production lines, and exports of domestic inkjet and laser marking identification equipment have maintained steady growth. Southeast Asia, the CIS, the Middle East and North Africa are key growth markets.
Demand characteristics vary greatly across regions. Southeast Asia has seen rapid expansion of food and daily chemical industrial clusters, bringing strong volume demand for basic small-character inkjet printers and inline CO₂ laser marking equipment. The CIS region enforces mandatory coding for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and building materials, creating robust demand for high-precision UV inkjet and stable on-line marking solutions. Customers in the Middle East and North Africa prioritize equipment resistance to high temperatures, long continuous operation capability and localized after-sales support.
Compared with imported brands, domestic identification equipment stands out in overall cost performance, delivery lead time, customized integration solutions and spare parts supply. Domestic manufacturers keep optimizing core components such as optical paths, control mainboards and photoelectric sensors. Meanwhile, supporting services including multi-language systems, remote commissioning and rapid spare parts delivery are being upgraded to match overseas users’ operating habits.
At the same time, overseas purchasing requirements are upgrading. Buyers no longer only purchase standalone machines, but tend to source complete identification solutions covering “equipment + production line integration + after-sales maintenance”. For domestic identification equipment manufacturers, refining reliable machine performance and building overseas after-sales networks are critical to further exploring overseas markets and expanding market share.
